Catalog description
A directed study course that is designed to build on the foundations of Conducting I, allowing each student to improve basic skills, while addressing the specifics of choral conducting. These aspects include, but are not limited to, study of the gesture to evoke sound, score study and analysis, aural skills, error detection, diction and articulations, designing rehearsal plans, developing the vocal, aural and reading skills of the amateur choir.
