Catalog description

This course focuses on early intermediate techniques of piano performance. The sub-categories of functional keyboard skills used in this course are sight reading, harmonization, technique, repertoire, accompanying, transposition, improvisation, playing solo and ensemble piano repertoire, and playing songs by ear. Prerequisite: Group Piano II or Placement Examination
