Catalog description
This course focuses on late elementary techniques of piano performance. The sub-categories of functional keyboard skills developed in this course are sight reading, harmonization, technique, repertoire, accompanying, transposition, improvisation, playing solo and ensemble piano repertoire, and playing songs by ear. Prerequisite: MUPF 157 or Placement Examination. Individual degree programs may require different levels of competency. Refer to your degree program for requirements.
