Eurhythmics for Performance

Catalog description

Eurhythmics for Performance is a foundational course designed to deepen musical accuracy and artistry through the medium of the human body. Dalcroze Eurhythmics pedagogy will guide students in successive learning experiences of core musical elements (beat, meter, rhythm, tempo, articulation, dynamics, phrase, and form). This course will develop active listening, physical awareness and ease, and effective communication skills for engaged musical performance. Restricted to Performance majors.
