String Techniques II

Catalog description

This is the second course in the string techniques sequence, focusing on beginning level instruction in orchestral stringedinstruments. This course is intended for undergraduate music education majors and is part of the overall secondary instrumentcomponent of the music education curriculum. Students who played violin/viola in String Tech I will play either cello or bass inString Tech II. Likewise, students who played cello/bass in String Tech I will play either violin or viola in String Tech II. String majors will continue to focus on the string instruments that are not their primary instrument.
