Advanced Choral Methods

Catalog description

Advanced Choral Methods addresses the teaching of vocal technique, musicianship skills, and choral repertoire to high school adolescent singers. Students will refine rehearsal, conducting, and piano skills with an emphasis on healthy vocal production and appropriate stylistic practices. This course is designed for undergraduate students who are preparing to become choral educators, primarily at the high school level. Students will complete practical teaching experiences in class and in area high school choral programs.
