Brass Techniques I

Catalog description

Brass Techniques is a two-semester course sequence designed for preservice music teachers. Class members will develop fundamental performance skills with secondary brass instruments (from among trumpet, single and double horns, tenor and Bb/F trombones, euphonium, and BBb tuba); become familiar with appropriate diagnostic and teaching strategies for those performance skills; and learn about resources useful for the teaching and learning of brass instruments in school settings.
