This course considers the characteristics and interests of external constituencies critical to the success of the modern education-focused organization. Marketing and communication strategies for engaging key stakeholders are reviewed. Topics covered include the importance of community relations, the role of the education leader, partnership development and management, crisis communication, and evaluating communication strategy.
