Students will explore the writings of Hispanic women, from Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz to Isabel Allende and from Leonor López de Córdoba to Paloma Pedrero. While the course is taught in English, students of Spanish will be encouraged to read original texts and write essays in Spanish, though this is not required. The course may be counted as an elective toward the Spanish major or minor
