Spanish Conversation and Composition II Community Engagement

Catalog description

The sequel to 301W with more emphasis on fluency in speaking and writing and idiomatic use of the language. A community-engaged component is central to this course, fostering the development of students? linguistic and cultural competencies through meaningful interaction beyond the classroom and emphasizing the importance of engaging with and contributing to a multicultural society. The course is designed to expand oral and written fluency through extensive reading, discussion, and writing on a variety of topics. A systematic grammar review is an integral part of the course. MLSP 302W may be taken prior or independently to MLSP 301W. Prerequisite: 202 or equivalent.
