Spanish for the Healthcare Professional II

Catalog description

MLSP 282 is the continuation of MLSP 280/MLSP 281. This course aims to give students practical knowledge of Spanish to prepare them to work in the health field. Emphasis is on the spoken, listening, written and reading skills. Students will study intermediate level medical terminology and they will learn how to use it within medical contexts. Students will acquire intermediate proficiency and will develop a high level cultural and social awareness toward the Spanish speaking-community.
