Catalog description
Targeting students who hope to spend a semester at Duquesne's campus in Rome as well as those who simply have an interest in Italy, this course offers a general introduction to the basic elements of Italian culture and language. Students will develop their abilities to speak and understand basic Italian while also learning more about the country's rich and complex modern history. Special attention will be devoted to providing students with the linguistic and cultural tools necessary for fully enjoying life in Italy.
