Catalog description

This course examines the executive environment and the role of leadership in organizational success. Learners explore foundational and contemporary leadership theories, including how leaders develop vision, make strategic decisions, and influence organizational performance. The course analyzes the challenges leaders face in dynamic business environments and develops skills for diagnosing and addressing organizational problems. This course also provides an opportunity to listen to and learn from some of the leading-edge experts/leaders via video discussions/interviews about leadership. Emphasis is placed on understanding diverse perspectives on leadership, the conditions under which leadership is effective, and the evolving demands placed on leaders at all levels of an organization.
