Catalog description

The Obstetrics, Gynecology and Urology course will familiarize the student with normal reproductive function of the male and female urogenital systems, including fertilization, pregnancy and birth, and diseases and abnormalities of these systems from an osteopathic perspective. Topics will also include fertility awareness and infertility diagnosis and treatment, conditions of the breast, and cancers of the male and female reproductive systems. The course will emphasize the pathophysiology of reproductive diseases and the biomedical rationale for initiating treatment in preparation for Level 1 COMLEX-USA.
