Catalog description

The Endocrinology course offers an in-depth study of the endocrine system, including structure and function of endocrine organs, regulatory mechanisms of hormone secretion, etiology, pathogenesis and pathophysiology of endocrine disorders, and the diagnosis and management of patients with endocrine disorders. The course consists of didactic lectures, independent study, and case-based modalities. Principles learned will be utilized and applied in concurrent and subsequent courses in the medical curriculum and throughout medical training and practice.
