Catalog description

The Nephrology course provides a comprehensive overview of the urinary system, integrating renal, anatomy, embryology, physiology, pathology, pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Topics include the development of urinary system, glomerular and tubular function, electrolyte imbalance, acid-base disorders, glomerular diseases, urinary tract infections, acute and chronic kidney diseases, nephrolithiasis, renal replacement modalities, kidney and urologic malignancies, and congenital renal conditions.
