Duquesne University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Neurology II builds upon student knowledge of functional neuroanatomy by applying these concepts to the interpretation of clinical examination findings, patient complaints, signs and symptoms for generating appropriate differential diagnoses and formulating treatment plans for pathological neurological conditions commonly encountered in patients. Where applicable, students will incorporate osteopathic principles and treatment into the overall patient management plan. This approach to clinical reasoning across a spectrum of neurological pathologies emphasizes correlating neuroanatomy to clinical presentations and developing diagnostic and therapeutic acumen.
