Catalog description

Physiology aims to provide a strong foundational understanding of the functions of the human body at the level of tissues, organs, and organ system in order to provide a basis for further exploration of medicine, disease processes and understanding of pathology and clinical concepts. The topics covered will include general cell physiology, nerve, muscle, and an introduction to systems physiology, with emphasis on the interconnection among these and the unity of the human body and its capacity for self-regulation.
