Evidence Based Medicine

Catalog description

Evidence Based Medicine provides a foundational framework for scholarship in the health sciences. The main topics to be discussed are clinical study design, responsible conduct in research, the scientific method, the research process and methodology, literature searches, and biostatistics. In addition to lectures and discussions, this course will utilize scientific literature to engage students in the exploration of these topics.
