Mathematics Capstone Project

Catalog description

This course offers students the opportunity to use their mathematics skills to work on an individual or group project. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will read papers on mathematical research, formulate new ideas, and engage in experiments outside the classroom. Students will work throughout the semester on writing a short paper about their findings. Students will ultimately give a short presentation explaining the results of their work.
