Catalog description

Student teaching is a 15-week full-time experience in an approved middle grades (4-8) classroom under the direct supervision of a mentor teacher and a university supervisor. Middle level student teaching includes a split placement in upper elementary (grades 4-6) and the teacher candidate's specialty area in grades 7 and 8.
