Middle Level Capstone Experience

LTML 421 is taken concurrently with Student Teaching. The Middle-Level Capstone is designed to parallel the student teaching experience. The course will meet on a weekly basis to support student teachers as they assume the role of teacher in their placement. The course will focus on the application of professional skills and competencies in order to meet the needs of middle grade students while supporting student teachers as they assume the identity of professional educator. Preparing for professional life (i.e. interviews, resumes and portfolios) is addressed in this course. Preparation for the Exit Interview and the Portfolio are part of this course.
