Teaching Language Arts in Grades 4-8

This course focuses on written and oral language development of children from middle childhood to early adolescence (grades 4-8). It explores the cognitive, social, cultural, and political implications of literacy education. Utilizing an intensive writing workshop format, sessions will be conducted to model a link between the reading and writing process.
