Duquesne University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
This community engaged learning (CEL) experience will provide students the opportunity to critically reflect on the role of what it means to be a community-engaged educator. This CEL experience is designed to complement the LTFL 203 Social Justice in Community-Engaged Educational Settings course. Students will participate in afterschool programming, supporting youth in a community organization. This will support students to learn about systems of inequity in education so they can center, advocate, and partner with communities to best meet the needs of your students.
