The Content Knowledge and Pedagogy for PreK-4 Social Studies course will focus on educational studies and experiences in PreK-4 Social Studies and their impact on individuals and communities. This will occur through the understanding, development, and application of skills necessary for inquiry. Teacher candidates will engage in investigations with an emphasis on social studies content. Teacher candidates will demonstrate the application of inquiry skills, planning and implementation of investigations, and classroom teaching skills in schools, museums, and other educational facilities.
