Elective Course Enrollment Limit: 5 Co-requisite: Constitutional Law I, Evidence (may be taken in fall or spring) 2 Classroom credits, 2 Non-classroom credits Satisfies Experiential Learning requirement Fulfills Civil Litigation Concentration elective Students will provide legal representation in criminal and civil rights matters for inmates with appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and trials before the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania. Training will be given in case intake and interviewing, client counseling, fact investigation, case analysis, negotiation, research, drafting, and trial advocacy.
