Enrollment Limit: 20 Course Requirement: exam This course covers in-depth complex litigation and class actions, including the constitutional issues associated with representative litigation. Among other aspects, the course includes the use of the multi-district litigation techniques, court supervision and coordination of litigation, discovery techniques in complex litigation, settling complex litigation, and techniques for trying complex cases. These areas are generally explored through antitrust, securities, discrimination and mass tort claims so that students receive some substantive as well as practical exposure to those areas. Take home or in-class exam.
