Elective Course Enrollment Limit: 5 1.5 Classroom credits, 1.5 Non-classroom credits Satisfies Experiential Learning requirement Fulfills Current Concentration Elective: Government and Public Interest- Basic Government Track, Government and Public Interest- Health Law Track, Government and Public Interest- Mission and Moral Life Track, Litigation- Civil Litigation Track This semester based clinic assists low-income clients with unemployment compensation matters. Students receive hands-on training interviewing clients, reviewing claims, applying the rules of evidence, preparing cases, and appearing before administrative judges. Students may also represent clients in appeals to the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. NOTE: Some local travel by students may be required.
