*Clinic pending approval One Semester Clinic Co-requisite: Evidence The Landlord Tenant Clinic is designed to educate students in all facets of the working practice of housing laws in Pennsylvania. Students will be instructed in both procedural and substantive areas of practice through the representation of clients. In this Clinic, students will represent tenants who having pending eviction cases in front of their local magistrate, with a particular focus toward clients who have recently been negatively impacted by systems such as the criminal justice system or Children, Youth and Family services. Students will have the opportunity to conduct case intakes and interviews, meet with clients, fact investigation, case analysis, research, drafting, prepare and file legal documents, negotiation, argue at hearings or other court proceedings, and provide legal advice.
