Catalog description

Elective Course A 1-credit hybrid course that considers the European Union?s approach to important law and policy questions surrounding free trade, social justice, and climate change, focusing on the interrelation of these issues and their solutions. This is a hybrid course with three online synchronous class sessions on March 17th, 18th and 28th from 8:00 am to 9:00 am followed by 1 week of in-person instruction March 31st to April 4th taught by Dr. Sophie Robin-Olivier of the Sorbonne who will be traveling in from Paris to teach that week. Class the week of March 31st will be held 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday.
