Elective Course International Organizations continue to influence states, world politics, and the life of millions of people around the world. This course provides an overview to international organizations and includes the study of the history, emergence, legal personality, immunities and responsibilities of international organizations from a legal perspective. In particular, the legal relationship between international organizations and its member states will be analyzed as well as the legal acts and powers possessed by international organizations. Emphasis will be made on the nature of the constituent documents and the impact of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties on said instruments.
