Elective Course Co-requisite: Family Law Course Requirement: written assignments Satisfies Experiential Learning requirement Fulfills Current Concentration Elective: Litigation- Civil Litigation Track, General Practice- Basic Track This course will be an overview of economic matters in a divorce with an emphasis on the use of experts and discovery. Students will learn about discovery requests, economic information fact gathering, and learning about the need for experts in addressing economic matters in divorce. Students will examine various methods of discovery, effective deposition techniques, and effective review of information gathered to prepare Motions to Compel discovery and will participate in demonstrations of Motions Court arguments.
