Elective Course Prerequisite: Corporations Course Requirement: in-class and at-home assignments Venture Capital Law introduces advanced corporate law students to the theory, doctrine, and practice of venture capital transactions. This course leverages video lessons, simulation experiences, classroom learnings, and casebook readings to convey the core principles of one of today's hottest transactional practice areas. You will learn about business planning, legal ethics, securities compliance, crowd funding, venture finance, private equity, preferred stock, and deal negotiation. You will be evaluated based on your performance on in-class and at-home exercises. There is no final exam.
