Enrollment Limit: 30 Course Requirement: take-home exam This course will focus on the practice of international criminal tribunals. The course examines the sources of international criminal law (treaties and conventions, international custom, human rights norms), the most serious crimes charged under international law (genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes), and the modes of liability for charging the accused under international law. The syllabus is structured to cover the history of international law, the practice of international criminal tribunals, and the special topics and crimes unique to the field.
