Elective Course Online Course Requirement: written project Satisfies Experiential Learning requirement Fulfills Current Concentration Elective: Litigation- Civil Litigation Track This course examines the discoverability of social media data in pretrial civil litigation, including the different approaches courts take to discovery of websites like Facebook or Snapchat, the privacy issues involved, and the ethical constraints on attorney conduct. In addition to learning more about the law of discovery, students in this skills course will draft discovery requests, pretrial motions, and other discovery-related documents.
