Catalog description

Students will build on the understanding and practice of journalism they began in JMA 200W/JOUR 200W (JMA 271W). There will be a more intensive focus on field work in the city, story conception and development, using public records, covering court and government proceedings, etc., using a variety of platforms - including social media - to gather and disseminate news. Pre-requisite: (Before 2018) JMA 200W OR JMA 271W; (2018 and later) JOUR 200W.
