Catalog description

Students in this class will learn fundamental news values, techniques and ethics. They will gather news using traditional and electronic sources. They will learn interviewing and research techniques. They will produce multiplatform news, blending narrative, still and video imaging and audio techniques, for dissemination on a variety of platforms, including Web, blogs/Wordpress, social media and print. Students are strongly encouraged to hone their skills by joining student media.
