Catalog description

Data is a critical asset for modern organizations, and this course equips you with the foundational skills to manage, structure, and extract value from it. You will learn how to identify organizational information requirements, model them using industry-standard conceptual data modeling techniques, and translate those models into well-structured physical database designs while validating data integrity through normalization. The course provides hands-on experience implementing and querying databases using SQL, with an emphasis on data cleaning and transformation to ensure accuracy when working with real-world datasets. You will also be introduced to prompt-to-SQL tools and other AI-powered data capabilities that support query generation, refinement, and interpretation.
