Contemporary organizations rely heavily on data to drive strategy, improve operations, and gain competitive advantage, making it essential for future business leaders to understand how data can be transformed into meaningful, actionable insight. Using an established decision-making framework, this course explores the acquisition, management, analysis, and visualization of data in business contexts, with an emphasis on evidence-based decision making in realistic organizational scenarios. You will examine how artificial intelligence supports modern decision-making through AI-enhanced analytics tools and techniques and be introduced to foundational AI concepts and types of AI systems while emphasizing the importance of critically evaluating AI recommendations and recognizing when to trust or question AI-generated outputs. Through hands-on activities and the use of contemporary technology tools, you will develop practical skills in data analysis, visualization, and AI-supported decision making.
