Catalog description
This course examines the nature and preparation for conflict. It seeks to understand the driving forces which see military and surrogate conflict as tools to achieve state purposes. Finally, it directly examines looming, and perhaps irreconcilable, confliction of interests between some of the rising and established powers in the world. It will specifically study the decline the rules-based liberal world order, and the rise of its challengers, as well as System-level challenges by countries like the PRC, Iran, the DPRK, and Russia. Irregularly Offered.
