What are the most significant national security issues facing the US today? This course analyzes such issues as terrorism, cyberattack, "rogue" states (North Korea and Iran), "revisionist" states (Russia and China), climate change, and epidemic disease. The course assesses how great a threat they pose to U.S. national security--and what should be done about them. The course also examines broader issues of threat perception in U.S. foreign policy.
