Catalog description

The primary goal of this course is to walk students through the process of researching and drafting written deliverables that they would typically be expected to produce during their tenure as undergraduate students majoring in the social sciences. Students will be introduced to different styles of writing, with a focus on the classic, academic research or ?term paper.? Class-time in this course is dedicated to instruction on the various stages in research paper writing, with a seminar on shorter political analyses scheduled for after the midterm week.
