HONR 155
Honors Foundation in Ethics
Duquesne University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
Ethics are the philosophical, publicly-debated principles that shape human societies, policies, and institutions. The study of ethics also constitutes a special and distinctive characteristic of a Duquesne education: many of our academic departments, centers, and schools have been shaped by some of the greatest ethicists in the world. All Duquesne students will take two courses in ethics; this one introduces students to the basic ideas, thinkers, questions, and methodologies of this broad and complex field.
