Catalog description

This course is designed to provide physical therapy students with a basic understanding of specific pharmacological agents used in rehabilitation settigns, specialized activity settings such as athletics and over the counter as well as herbal medications used by the general public. Topics include pharmacological classifications, mechanisms, therapeutic indications, adverse reactions, drug interactions, precautions and drug testing procedures.
