Principles of Research

Catalog description

To adequately prepare students to work in the ever-evolving health care arena, this course builds upon the basic statistical principles learned in MATH 225 and helps students to become intimately involved in the activities that support evidence-based practice and the development of research to address clinical questions in Athletic Training. As part of the course requirements, students will delve into scientific and professional practice literature to determine best practices and appropriate standards of care. Research design, analysis, and writing skills are emphasized in this class.
