Emergency Medical Technician Practicum

Catalog description

This lecture and lab-based course provides students with the opportunity to complete the necessary didactic and laboratory based learning associated with the BLS-EMT program. Additionally, students are afforded the opportunity to complete the clinical experiences required by the PA Department of Health to become an emergency medical technician as part of this course. The course is offered using a flipped classroom approach in order to optimize student learning of the both the didactic content and clinical skills.
