This course is designed to introduce students to the topics of finance and accounting that healthcare managers encounter in healthcare systems. It will present students with the concepts and techniques of financial analysis and the decision making processes found commonly in healthcare, distinguishing between financial management and accounting. The emphasis will be on understanding and interpreting financial statements from a management perspective.
