Rise of Black Basketball

Catalog description

Students will analyze how early Black basketball communities used sport as a vehicle for leadership, enterprise, and social change, and apply those lessons to contemporary issues in sport and society. Through archival research and fieldwork, students will investigate the evolution of stewardship during the Black Fives Era.
