History of the Troubles

This one-credit course is designed to help students understand the reasons for the conflict in Northern Ireland, often referred to as The Troubles, the path to peace and the current issues surrounding identity and future. The course will consist of four 90 minute sessions plus a day trip to Belfast which will combine aspects of the Troubles and modern day Northern Ireland.
