Catalog description

This course focuses on the critical role information technologies and systems play in healthcare organizations. Hardware, software such as Excel, Access, and SQL, coding ICD-10 and CPT as it relates to health data compliance, Internet, social media, and e-health will be explored. All of the above will be factored in to the future of information technology in healthcare and how managers relate to them. Current data sets that impact the healthcare industry will also be studied.
